Get to Know Our Dentist

Dr. David R. Carlton, DMD, graduated from the College of William and Mary in 2011. Following in his grandfather's footsteps, he graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2016. Upon graduation, Dr. Carlton was commissioned as a dental officer in the United States Navy.

Dr. Carlton completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency and went on to provide exceptional dental care to members of the armed forces in the Hampton Roads area. After completing nine years of military service, Dr. Carlton resigned from the Navy to pursue his dream of owning his own dental practice.

Dr. Carlton currently lives in his childhood home in Chesapeake, VA with his wife, Sarah, and his son, Mark. He is an active member of his church and enjoys Bible study, reading, writing, gaming, and music.
